Thanks to our experience in numerical modelling of dilute gas and plasma flows, research & code development in PICLas is one of our services. This allows us to develop novel physical & numerical models as well as implement new boundary conditions. As part of our research & development process, we verify the implementation with simple test cases and use experimental measurements, if available, to validate more complex systems.
On-going research projects
Simulation of high-frequency plasma-enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PECVD) processes of industry-scale reactors at low pressures below 4 Pa
Partner: Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM
Time frame: 01.04.2021 - 31.03.2023
Funding: Innovationsprogramm für Geschäftsmodelle und Pionierlösungen (IGP), Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (Link)
We are open to collaborative research projects and have experience in the application to different funding sources on the European and national level. Contact us to discuss possible collaboration opportunities.
